Mission

To promote Radiation Protection in Medicine, Science, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry in South Africa with an emphasis on Health Care

Although SARPS has many members with a large variety of interests it has refined its primary focus to the health care sector to provide a better service to its members. This does not mean that other radiation protection areas are excluded. Wherever its members are active, SARPS is involved as well. Our constitution gives us a wide scope!
